Guest posting sites that actually accept? tested a bunch

Been trying to find legit sites for guest posting that actually accept. Tried 20+ in niche, only 3 responded. Of those, only 1 accepted and published my article. Results? 2 backlinks, 3% traffic bump. Most sites just ghost or ask for huge $$$. Is it me or are most sites just not worth the hassle anymore? How do you filter for legit acceptance? Any tools or methods for quick vetting?

Start by checking their backlink profile and outreach history with Ahrefs or SEMrush, ymmv but if they have a low spam score and genuine engagement, it's a better sign. Ever tried asking for case

careful with trusting just the metrics, I once paid a site based on backlink scores and got ghosted after. ever hit up sites with a personal pitch instead of just a pitch deck?

just my 2 cents: have you tried reaching out to smaller niche sites or blogs directly, rather than the big ones? sometimes they're more willing and easier to vet since they're not flooded with pitches. how do you usually approach those sites?

Have you tried building relationships instead of just pitching sites? I find sending personalized DMs, commenting on their content first, then pitching later makes a big difference. Sometimes it's about the connection not just the site metrics.

Most of the time, the hassle is just the norm now. But honestly, chasing legit sites is like fishing in a pond full of sharks. Not sure relying on tools or vetting methods really filters out the fake ones, lol.

Been doing this 3 years and honestly I think the focus on vetting tools might be overrated. I've had legit sites accept my stuff with zero tools involved, just good outreach and a bit of patience. Not saying tools are useless, but sometimes just doing a quick manual check on their domain authority and looking at their recent activity can tell you if they're worth the effort. Guess

Last month I pitched 15 sites, only 3 responded, and 1 published, so I feel ya. I've found that focusing on niche relevance and checking domain authority (like Moz DA over 20) helps weed out the dead ends, but even then it's a gamble. No magic method,

Most sites don't really make it easy, but I look for those that have clear submission guidelines, decent domain authority (above 20), and a history of accepting guest posts without crazy fees. Also check their backlink profile and social presence, ymmv but it's better than nothing.

Bruh, so you're saying good outreach beats tools? Imho, isn't that just luck? Or do you think the tools are really that overrated?

Different angle: maybe the problem is your approach more than the sites. Ever consider building real relationships and offering value instead of just cold pitching? Are tools really gonna fix that, or do you need a better outreach mindset?

Haha, I see what you did there, but just a tiny correction, you said "tested a bunch" when I think you meant "tested a bunch". I mean, unless you literally tested them all, which, smh, no one has that kinda time. Anyway, just a typo but maybe worth fixing before you get more serious answers.

Yep exactly, I swear half the time just genuinely reaching out works better than relying on tools, ymmv tho lol

thanks for the tips, will check backlink profiles with ahrefs, good idea. yeah, I tried personal pitches but most just ghost. smaller niche sites sound better, might give that a shot. not really into paying for backlinks, so looking for legit sites that actually respond.
