careful with assuming cheap vps means weak privacy policies, not all are the same. did u actually check their logging policies before? some might be more privacy-focused than u think.
3 is way too low for legit proxies, especially if u want reliable access to footsites. u get what u pay for, so stick to known providers even if it hurts ur budget. cheap proxies are almost always gonna fail or get banned fast.
lol, wireguard's fast but honestly I had way more disconnects with it on the road. OpenVPN with UDP works fine for me and stays stable even on sketchy wifi. think it depends on your setup more than the protocol itself
ok so using residential proxies can boost your conv but watch out for slow speeds sometimes. have u tried rotating proxies? can help avoid blocks and keep ur scrapes running smooth.
honestly different angle: imo, the price randomness mainly comes from how proxies are marketed and the hype around certain providers. some get hyped, so prices spike, others stay low. it's kinda more about perception than actual quality sometimes
thanks for the tips guys, yeah i kinda figured cheap proxies are trash most of the time but wanted to see if anyone found a decent cheap source that's not dead in a day. i mostly test in one niche so maybe that's why i keep getting banned but yeah, better to pay more for stability or keep...
so i've been testing a bunch of cheap datacenter proxies for scraping and the detection rate is stupid high. used one of those.50 per GB providers, got like a 95% block rate on medium-security sites (cloudflare challenges after maybe 20 requests). tried rotating every request but they still...
been doing this 3 years and honestly, the op mentioned "which actually convert now" but it's more about testing and picking what works, seasonal or not. always keep an eye on real data, not just hype
you ever considered setting up a separate account or sub-account with these networks just for payments? keeps everything clean and makes it easier to spot if something's off before it hits your main bank. ever had issues with that?
ok so been doing this 3 years and agree, the OP's got the focus kinda off. block rate isn't just about how many proxies get banned but why they get banned, IP reputation, rate limits, etc. all play into it.
yo so im using these datacenter proxies (cheap af) with puppeteer and stealth plugin. followed a tutorial. but my scraper keeps getting blocked on shopify sites after like 5 minutes. they just show a captcha and its over. my code looks right (i think). are the proxies just trash? or am i missing...
last month i tried some cb offers just to see if their new setup was really legit and ngl it was kinda a mess, dude. tracking was laggy, support ghosted me when I asked questions, and the offers? meh.
Honestly, I think pop is kinda like that old car that still runs but needs a lot of work to keep it alive. I gave it a shot last year and yeah, bounce rates were insane, even with fresh landing pages. kinda feels like unless you got a super niche angle or crazy offer, it's just more pricey...
Last month I hit up some resource pages and ended up getting a decent backlink without much fuss, no luck or niche magic needed. I think sometimes you just gotta be consistent and experiment, not wait for luck to strike.
just my 2 cents: ppl get all hyped about crypto cause of the "fast and cheap" buzz but forget about the chaos it can bring like crazy fees and delays, lol. sometimes wire or Payoneer still better if u wanna avoid the headache
different angle: I once bought a bunch of proxies from a provider claiming high numbers, but half of em got flagged or slow as hell. ended up just using fewer, better quality ones and got way better results. numbers ain't everything.
are you sure about that? if you use a good VPN before your VPS, the host won't see your actual traffic, only the encrypted tunnel from VPN to VPS. but if you just run openvpn on the Pi without extra layers, yeah, the VPS still logs what comes in and out.
ngl yo, been there, seen that. emails bounce, phone disconnected sounds sketchy af. honestly, most agencies just spin up fake networks or resell pbn links, better off vetting actual ppl or
yo, appreciate the props guys, ngl. +1 on the winging it part, that's how most mess up. and yeah, people forget dns logs, that's the kinda stuff that gets u flagged quick. if u got more questions or tips, drop 'em, happy to keep it real.
