Static residential proxies, real use cases and limitations?

Been messing around with static residential proxies for a bit now and trying to understand their best use cases. Mainly I want to see if they're worth the price for certain tasks or if I should stick with rotating pools. My main goal is to scrape local data without getting banned fast but also...

Best VPN for travel - fast access to geo-blocked content

I once thought the "fastest" VPN would be the best for travel but ended up getting flagged on some sites cause of the VPN IPs. Now I just pick whatever's decent enough and hope for the best. ymmv

Double VPN from NordVPN - speed and latency numbers

Careful with double VPN speeds, I once went down to barely usable levels testing late at night, thought my setup was broken till I switched servers. YMMV, but sometimes it's just a crapshoot with latency spikes.

Adult traffic - why my ctr/conv ratios are all over the place

ever thought about testing different pre-landers or even direct linking on some geos? Maybe your audience's intent is just not matching the offer, so tweak that first.

Proxy APIs vs proxy lists, price or quality, which wins?

ngl i messed around with cheap proxy lists for a while and ended up getting banned in like a day, no joke. Switched to API plans and it's been way smoother, better success rates, less headaches. Honestly, sometimes paying more is just less hassle overall.

Starting with FB, TikTok, Google for CPA and wondering where to even begin

Start with a clear goal and pick one platform first, then master it. Don't jump into all three at once, you'll just confuse yourself. learn the rules but don't get paralyzed by every detail, just get your hands dirty and learn as you go.

Geo-targeted proxies for localized scraping - numbers?

Careful with just chasing numbers, though. How do you test if those proxies actually stay localized or if they're just rerouted? ymmv but I've found it's more about how you verify the proxies work than just grabbing a big pool.

Weekly Lead gen results for insurance & solar - feeling confident

You ever notice how that confidence spike always seems to come right before a dip? I've been there, thinking I'm on fire one week, then boom leads vanish. I started using a simple daily tracker in Sheets and honestly it keeps me grounded, ymmv. Stay sharp, don't let the wins get to your head.

Datacenter proxies - cheap but super easy to spot? Watch out!

nah, I actually think cheap can work if you pick the right provider but most just don't bother doing the homework. It's all about testing and knowing what's legit and what's not. YMMV but don't write off everything cheap right away.

WireGuard on mobile - battery impact back in the day vs now

Thanks for all the feedback guys, it's cool to see how much progress has been made. Ampere is a good shout, I gotta check it out myself. Yeah, the keep-alive stuff still can be a drain on some newer phones if you never disconnect, ymmv. Overall, seems like WireGuard's battery impact is pretty...

WireGuard on mobile - battery impact back in the day vs now

Man remember when WireGuard first popped up on mobile and everyone was like 'oh cool, lightweight, fast but what about battery drain?' Back then, testing showed some pretty wide variances. I ran a few tests myself and saw on older phones, using WireGuard for an hour could chew up about 10-15%...

PBN in 2025, still working or too risky?

Appreciate the advice guys, always a good reminder to diversify. Yeah, I get the risk, but sometimes the quick wins are tempting enough to give it a shot, ymmv. Still feel like PBNs can work if you're careful, but no doubt it's a dance on a thin line. I guess I'll keep riding it while it lasts...

PBN in 2025, still working or too risky?

So I've been dabbling with PBNs again, cause why not right? Thought maybe it was dead or too hot to handle but surprisingly, I saw some decent results last month. Went from ranking on page 4 to top 3 with a handful of fresh PBN links. Yeah, I know the risks, but honestly, it felt like cheating...

Just wasted money on a dedicated IP, need to vent

exactly, if you don't customize or rotate those IPs they're just fancy traffic blobs, not magic fixers.

Kill switch test results - real world numbers!

Actually, I think speed isn't the real killer, it's the consistency under load. Have you tested how that kill switch holds up after hours of streaming or torrenting? YMMV but I'd bet stability

Smartlink vs individual offers for beginners, honestly confused

I remember jumping into smartlinks thinking they were some magic button, only to realize I was blind testing them and wasting tons of time. Turns out, most burn out trying to get it right without knowing offers inside out first. ymmv but I think you gotta walk before you run.

Buying links - what a mess of price ranges and quality tiers

really? I think there's actually a way to spot decent links without breaking the bank if you know what to look for. Not all cheap links are garbage, ymmv.

Mullvad VPN - the dark horse of privacy nobody talks about

Thanks for the insights, guys. YMMV for sure, and yeah, location and server choice matter a lot. I think Mullvad's simplicity is what appeals to me most, and I'm willing to accept a bit of speed hit for privacy. Still, good to hear different experiences, makes me wanna test a few more servers...

Mullvad VPN - the dark horse of privacy nobody talks about

been looking into vpns lately and found mullvad. heard the name before but never checked it out till now. their whole thing is kinda old school but cool, no emails no tracking just super simple. like you get a random number for your account id and thats it. feels like they actually care about...

Trying to set up proxy rotation with Python but lol

Ever tried actually reading the instructions or just winging it? Most scripts I've seen just hack together, but fail more than they work long term. You need a legit proxy pool management system, not just random calls.
