Frustrated with all these free VPNs promising the moon but barely delivering? lol. Most are just data mines. they sell ur info or inject ads to make money. speed? barely enough for streaming or torrenting. geo-unblocking? only on paper. i tested a bunch, and they just lie. wanna save ur privacy? pay for legit VPNs or host ur own. free VPNs = hidden costs, low speed, and risk of data selling. don't fall for the hype. if it's free, u r the product.

Haha yeah, sounds like they're selling snake oil. One thing I do is look for free VPNs that are open source and have good reviews from actual tech folks. at least u can see the code and trust it more.

Careful with free VPNs, most only keep logs for 14-30 days (like ProtonVPN) and then say they delete 'em but who knows. Check their privacy policy, and if they keep logs longer than a month

Over 60% of free VPNs are caught injecting ads or selling ur data, sometimes both. U gotta read the privacy policy carefully and see if they explicitly state they don't sell ur info. if they don't have a clear no-log policy or mention selling data, run.

they sell ur info or inject ads to make money, legit sketchy. one tip is to check if they have a clear no-logs policy and see if they've been audited by third parties, that's a good sign they actually care about privacy.

Last month i tried a bunch of free VPNs just to test speeds for streaming and yeah they were all trash, barely got 5mbps. After switching to a legit paid one, my speeds doubled and I didn't have to worry about data selling or ads popping up. ymmv but once you go paid, the difference is night and day.

Actually, I'd argue the stats are kinda skewed. Yeah, most free VPNs are trash but some legit ones do what they say on the tin and actually respect privacy. U just gotta do some homework, read reviews, test speeds, and check their policies. Not all free VPNs are the devil, it's about picking the right one

bruh, i mean some free VPNs are straight up useless but not all of them are trash. ya gotta read reviews and check their privacy policies, sometimes you find a gem that actually does what it says without selling ur data. don't just assume all free ones are bad, but yeah most are sus

Over 70% of free VPNs I checked either sell user data or inject ads, so yeah, they're pretty much worthless for real privacy. But I've seen a few that are transparent about their policies and do okay for basic browsing. Still, if you want legit security, paying up or hosting your own is the only way to go.

Been messing with free VPNs for a few years, bruh, and yeah, most are trash. I tried one that seemed legit, but after a month they started injecting ads like crazy and selling my data. Now I just pay for a decent one, feels way safer and

Yeah, last month i tried a free VPN to test for a client and it was absolute garbage, slow as hell and kept disconnecting. kinda knew it was a scam but had to see it for myself. now I only mess with legit paid ones or self-host.

yo disagree, been using free VPNs for years, and some of them are surprisingly decent for basic browsing and quick tasks. sure, they're not perfect and not meant for heavy stuff, but claiming all free VPNs are trash is oversimplifying. i think if u pick carefully and read reviews, u can find some legit options that don't sell ur data. never assume all free = garbage, experience can vary.

15% of free VPNs actually keep some sort of logs, so yeah, not surprising they're trash. i get it, sometimes you just need quick privacy, but fam, don't expect the world for free

appreciate the tips fam, open source VPNs def better if u wanna peek the code. yeah, privacy policies are key, always check if they keep logs longer than they say. lol, most free VPNs just sell ur data or shove ads, so stay cautious. better off paying for legit ones or hosting ur own, lowkey safer.
