ngl my setup for insta/tiktok automation used to get blocked constantly, even on 'residential' ips. ran some tests last month and the data is wild. 1) most residential providers use the same subnets that socials have flagged for years (check your ip against abuseipdb lol). 2) mobile proxies are the only thing that gave me like a 95%+ success rate but the cost is insane. tbh i'm running a hybrid now with a few sticky residentials for account login and datacenter for bulk actions (but rotated per action obv). anyone else actually tracking block rates vs proxy type? my sheet shows datacenter conv rate drops to like 2% after 48 hours.

90% of residential IPs being flagged sounds about right, but I wonder how many actually get cleaned up over time or if they stay tainted forever, right?

Been doing this 3 years, and honestly, the hybrid approach is kinda the way to go if you wanna keep costs manageable but still get decent success. I've been using GeoSurf for residentials, and yeah, the cleanup rates are brutal but at least you get some longevity before they get flagged. For bulk, I stick with datacenter but rotate like you said, helps keep the conv rate higher longer. Just watch out for those IPs getting tainted fast if you don't manage rotation tight

Careful with those tests, bruh. Data can be misleading if you don't consider the variables behind it. Just because it looked wild doesn't mean it's the whole story or that it's gonna stay that way. Always test your own shit, not just rely on some numbers you pulled out of nowhere.

Check your IPs on AbuseIPDB regularly, that's key. Ever tried mixing in some new residential blocks or geo-targeted ones? Might help keep those success rates high without breaking the bank.

I dunno about always testing your own shit, sometimes the data is just too inconsistent. Sure, testing is key but imho it's hard to get a real picture without a huge sample size, which ain't always feasible. You really trust those small tests to give a full story?

Honestly, I think the whole residential IP thing is overrated for automation now. I used to chase them hard but saw my success rate tank after a week. Switched to a mix of datacenter proxies with some fresh residentials and my accounts barely get touched. Seems like the key is rotation and not relying on the same IPs all the time, no?

Actually saw my account get hit hard when I kept using the same residential IPs for too long, even with rotation. Sometimes it's just a matter of changing up the subnets more often than you think.

How often are you rotating your residential subnets before hitting the 48-hour mark? ymmv but I found more frequent subnet swaps help keep block rates lower longer.

Have you tried using residential proxies instead? They sometimes get around social media blocks better than data center ones.

been doing this 3 years, social media proxies still hit or miss, but residential ones often work better for legit engagement.

last month I tested social media proxies for a week and they still got flagged or throttled half the time, so imo they're not a magic fix.

so i posted about pop traffic being dead a while back, have you looked into using fresh account proxies? sometimes rotating fresh accounts can help avoid bans more than just proxies alone

last month i ran a test with around 50 social media proxies and found about a 30% success rate before getting flagged, so ymmv with reliability and quality. have you tried using really low-l

ok so yeah, I agree pop traffic's pretty tricky now. one thing I've seen work sometimes is layering proxies with fresh accounts, ymmv tho. have you tried combining different proxy types or just sticking with social media proxies?

u think social media proxies are enough or u mixing in other tactics too? sometimes layering with fresh accounts helps but u gotta keep testing what works rn.

personally I think just relying on social media proxies is kinda risky. smh, u gotta mix in some other stuff like retargeting or organic posts, keep it fresh. might as well test different combo, see what sticks.

tnx for sharing ur experience. yeah, residential proxies are usually more legit, but they still ain't perfect, still get flagged sometimes. i guess it's just about testing and mixin' things up till u find what works
