Direct Deals vs Networks: Who's actually winning?

Direct Deals vs Networks: Who's actually winning?

So I been messing around with some CPA offers lately and honestly I can't tell if going direct is just a myth or if I am doing it wrong. I mean, I got one direct deal where I pulled in like 200 leads, but the payout was only 5 bucks each, so total was like 1000 bucks for a week of work. Then I tried a network and they offered me a higher payout, like 15 bucks per lead, but the traffic got crushed and I only made 300 bucks total after some legit ad spend. Kinda feels like going direct is more stable but smaller, while networks are a rollercoaster. Anyone here actually doing direct deals and making bank? Or is it just a fancy dream? Would love some real talk on what works or if I should keep chasing the direct deal unicorn.

Honestly I think the whole direct deal thing is overhyped a bit. Yeah, the payouts can be lower but the stability is kinda real, especially if you got a decent relationship with the affiliate manager. Networks might seem like a rollercoaster but they also give you that safety net when your traffic tank or campaigns burn out. I've done both and imo you gotta mix it, chase the direct deals but don't bet your whole bankroll on them.

Last month I did a similar thing, got like 150 leads direct, payout was low too, but the stability was way better than the network. Sometimes I think the real game is in building those direct relationships, even if the payout isn't huge. The network rollercoaster gets old fast if you're trying to scale.

85% of the time direct deals are just a hype thing, smh. I think most guys chasing that 'big win' don't realize the real cash is in scaling networks and optimizing for volume.

ok so most dudes think direct is all about stability but forget it's usually smaller gains, not the big cash. The real money's in scaling networks and crushing volume, not chasing that elusive direct unicorn. Keep grinding but don't sleep on the volume hustle.

bruh, i remember back in the day when i thought direct deals were the holy grail till i got burned on a couple of offers. now i mostly run with networks and just keep testing. lol

More like 60-40 in favor of networks honestly. direct deals sound sexy but they come with a lot of red tape, delays and unexpected payouts. fam, i'd rather keep testing with networks and hunt for legit direct offers that actually convert.

careful with thinking direct deals are always better. sometimes they seem good but you gotta deal with delays, bad payouts, and extra red tape. networks might be safer long term, fr.

Last month I got burned on a direct deal cause the payout got delayed forever, so now I focus more on networks. Tip: always ask for payment terms upfront before locking in a deal, helps avoid surprises later.

yep exactly, always ask about payout timing and conditions rn. Nothing worse than chasing payments forever. Better safe than sorry.

70% of my direct deals paid faster than networks, but yeah, the risk is real if you don't vet the publisher. depends on the niche and relationship, but chasing payments is a pain no matter what.

last month i landed a big direct deal and made sure to get a clear contract upfront with specific payment terms and a clause for late payments, saved me a headache later. always get it in writing and specify a payment schedule, helps keep everyone honest.

yo, thanks for the insights, guys. yeah, i feel ya, direct deals sound sexy but the red tape can be a pain, especially if payouts get delayed. gonna keep testing both, but networks do seem kinda safer long term. any tips on spotting legit direct deals w/o the bs?
