ugh i need to vent for a sec. remember when backlink outreach was actually kinda fun? or at least not totally soul crushing? now it's just fancy tools and cold emails and hoping the site owner even sees it. but like i keep seeing these

i think you're romanticizing the old days a bit, but yeah outreach was less spammy. do you think there's still a way to make it less soul crushing or just accept it's part of the grind now?

is it just me or is that line the real slap in the face? like yeah maybe back then it was kinda fun, or at least felt like a hustle, but now it's just this endless game of spam and hope. i've tried to inject some personality but honestly, most people just don't even see it. feels like screaming into the void, tbh.

stop sending mass cold emails, start building real relationships with site owners, comment on their blogs, share their content. it's slow but it's actually worth it in the long run.

just my 2 cents, that's ideal but not really realistic for most folks doing volume. building legit relationships takes time, and honestly most just wanna get links fast. imo, the cold email grind is kinda the only way to scale, even if it sucks sometimes

tbh bruh, legit. sometimes it feels like yelling into space and hoping someone hears ya. the outreach game got so noisy, it's hard to stand out. smh, wish more folks focused on real connection instead of spammy tactics.

been doing this 12 years, and i remember when outreach was less about automation and more about genuine connections. now it's a constant spam fest, and honestly it kills the vibe. trying to stand out with real value is a rare find these days.

Honestly, I think personalizing your outreach even with tools can still make a difference. Spend a few mins on each pitch, mention their content, or recent projects, and you'll get better responses. YMMV but real effort still stands out.

Careful with romanticizing the "good ol days" tho. outreach was prob just as annoying but no one cared as much about spam back then. now at least ppl are aware of the spam, so the game is kinda tougher. just gotta adapt or get lost in the noise.

87% of outreach gets ignored or marked as spam, bruh. still, sometimes a simple genuine email gets a response. spend 2 mins on a custom line, not just boilerplate. might get lucky.

ok so spot on. I remember back in the day i got a few backlinks just by sending out a handful of emails with no fancy tools, no automation. now it's all hustle just to get ignored or marked as spam, feels like banging my head against a wall half the time.

Been doing this 3 years and infographics still work if u hit the right niche and quality. Remember when just tossing out a few and getting tons of backlinks was the norm? rn u gotta be more targeted, but the visual pull still draws some good links.

Haha yeah those were the days when you could just slap up an infographic and watch the backlinks roll in. Pro tip: instead of just making a pretty infographic, make it highly niche-specific and useful for a small audience. That way, you get more engagement and the backlinks tend to stick longer, lol

Last month I tried the infographic approach again and it still works if u do it right. I found that if u build a legit niche-specific one and pitch it to relevant blogs, u get decent backlinks without wasting time on generic stuff. ymmv but I've seen good results when u put in the effort.

Bruh, I tried same thing last year and it flopped hard. ppl not really into infographics like they used to be, u gotta mix it up more now.

last month i tried again too, and honestly it felt kinda nostalgic but also kinda dead. do you guys think ppl still bother with infographics or just skim past 'em now? or is there a sneaky way to make 'em pop more?

Actually, I found that like 60% of the outreach I do now involves infographics and it still pulls decent links. maybe ppl are just more selective but if your visuals pop, they still get attention. so imo, it's not dead, just gotta step up the quality.
