Disagree, I've run multiple VPN setups on Pi with no issues, even with some of the more niche providers. I think a lot depends on the specific VPN's Linux support and how much you tweak the configs. I've never had DNS or routing chaos just from using a decent VPN on Pi.

Careful with that, I've seen plenty of setups where even decent VPNs cause DNS leaks or routing issues on Pi. Just cuz it worked for you doesn't mean it's smooth sailing for everyone. I've wasted hours troubleshooting only to find the VPN wasn't compatible or needed extra configs.

Make sure to test for DNS leaks before you trust that VPN on Pi, fwiw. a lot of times its just the DNS configs screwing up your routing.
