ok so I've been watching ClickBank for a bit and the numbers seem alright but lately I'm hearing all this weird stuff about payouts and accounts getting banned. saw some dude say he made like 50k last year then they just ghosted him on the payment and shut his account down no warning. same with some offers, CTRs are tanking and refunds are way up compared to before. feels like they're tightening the screws or just messing with affiliates honestly. fwiw I looked at their payment terms and reviews and it's all over the place. anyone have actual data or recent experience? I'm close to just dropping them if they keep playing games with payout times or saying these refunds are normal when they're clearly not. this industry's already scammy enough, don't need another sketchy network.

haha, feels like that's been the vibe forever, right? But honestly, some of that stuff is just typical industry churn, not a scam. You gotta keep eyes open but don't assume they're out to screw you over just cause some folks got burned.

bruh yeah i've seen that too, CTRs dropping hard and refunds climbing. feels like they're tightening up controls or just trying to squeeze more outta affiliates before they get squeezed back. idk

just my 2 cents, i think clickbank's kinda shady sometimes but not outright scam, ya know? they play hardball with payouts and refunds but it's partly cuz of industry standards and kinda sketchy offers. still, always good to be cautious and keep backup plans.

just my 2 cents, that makes sense. ive seen some offers get cut off fast and payout delays up to 2 weeks now, which is kinda wild compared to last year when most paid weekly. looks like they're tryin to hold more on payouts and refunds, probably to cover themselves when refunds spike.

Have you ever looked at their payout delays? I had a buddy who got stiffed for like 10k last year, then he switched to CJ and had way better experience. ymmv but some networks actually pay on time and have legit support

been doing this 3 years and honestly i've never seen a legit network just ghost someone like that, that sounds more like a scam or an isolated case not a standard thing afaik, i'd be more worried about shady offers than clickbank itself atm

Have you thought about how much of this might be overblown or anecdotal? I mean, yeah, payout delays and refund issues can happen, but that doesn't necessarily mean the whole platform is sketchy. ymmv but it's worth digging into recent reviews and maybe even testing smaller offers before dropping them entirely.

different angle: have you looked into the type of offers that are tanking? sometimes it's just a market shift or changes in consumer behavior not necessarily a scam. also, keep in mind that some of those stories about ghosted payments could be outliers. my tip is to diversify and don't put all eggs in one basket, especially with networks that seem sketchy lately. always better to have backup offers and networks lined up, just in case.

spot on. i had a buddy get ghosted like that last year, made like 70k then boom, no payment, account gone. turned out he was pushing some sketchy offers tho, so part of me thinks it's not just clickbank, but still, makes ya paranoid.

Yeah, exactly. It's always a mix of legit and sketchy stuff, but when you hear enough stories about ghosted payouts and account bans, it's hard not to get paranoid. ymmv but I'd say keep eyes open and diversify

yo 80% of affiliate drama is in the offers and traffic quality, not just ClickBank. have you checked out AffJet for real-time data on offers, payout trends, and refunds? might give you a clearer
