Switching from affiliate to own product - why am I stuck?

Been in this game a while, right? Numbers don't lie. Tried to transition from promoting CPA to actually building my own product, but it's a nightmare. Traffic's still good, conversions are decent, but revenue? It's a total mess. Spend months building, testing, launching, and what do I get? Crickets. I thought I'd see a spike in profits, but nope, it's just plateaus and dead ends. Something's off, I swear. My cost per acquisition for affiliate offers? Still around 20-30 bucks, but my product? Getting barely 10. How are y'all doing it? Do I just need better funnels or what? Feels like everyone's hyping owning stuff but nobody talks about the grind and the math. If anyone's cracked the code, I need the real numbers, not hype. I'm seriously considering dropping this and going back to CPA, but I wanna know if I'm missing something big here. Maybe my targeting's off or I need to switch my pricing or something? Would love some real talk, not just "keep going" or "patience"

Last month I struggled with the same, thought owning was gonna be easier but the math was brutal. Maybe your funnels are off or your targeting needs a tweak but honestly, owning ain't just about hype, it's grind and smart math

disagree on the hype part, owning stuff is grind, no waaay around it. your numbers are telling you something, maybe your offer's value isn't there or your traffic is just not qualified. gotta run those metrics and really break down your funnel step by step, see where the dropoff is. without that data, you're just guessing.

100% agree, owning is a grind and the numbers don't lie. gotta really nail your offer, funnel, and traffic quality or you're just spinning wheels.

disagree, I've built and launched products in less time and seen better results. Maybe you're overcomplicating the testing phase or waiting for perfect conditions. How are your initial validation and MVPs looking before full-on launch?

Last month I struggled with the same, spent weeks tweaking my funnel and targeting. Turns out my offer wasn't really hitting the pain points. I started testing different angles and pricing and that's when I saw some movement. Sometimes it's just about realigning your value prop and making sure your traffic matches the offer.

different angle: sometimes it's not just the math or funnels, it's also about the timing and audience maturity. your traffic could be good, but if they're not ready to buy your own product yet, the numbers will stay meh. maybe try re-engaging or nurturing your list first before expecting a huge jump in revenue.

just my 2 cents, maybe ur not pricing right or ur traffic isn't primed for ur offer yet. sometimes it's not just math, it's audience maturity and timing. lmao

bruh I feel ya. switched to my own product last year, and man, it's a grind. sometimes it's just about the offer's relevance and how much you dial in your targeting, but yeah, the math can be brutal at first.

careful with that angle, timing and audience maturity are sus but not the whole story. if ur traffic's decent but conversions suck, u probs gotta refine ur offer or segment better. no magic pill, just more testing and data.

Only 10-30% of product launches hit the mark, so your experience isn't rare. question is, are you tracking ALL your costs? maybe your funnel's leakier than you think and your real profit is lower than it seems. without real numbers, you're just guessing.

ngl just my 2 cents, but I think the nightmare part is kinda normal if you're new to building your own stuff, cuz it's a totally different beast than affiliate stuff. The thing is, the grind is real but don't get caught up thinking the math is only about the traffic and the offers, gotta look at your funnel, your pricing and how well you're tracking all

Appreciate the replies, bruh. Yeah, the math is brutal, no sugarcoating that. Gotta admit, my offer might not be hitting right, and maybe my targeting is off too. Gonna test some new angles, tighten up funnels, and see if I can get those CPCs down. If anyone's got solid tips on offer tweaks or traffic quals, hit me up.
