Who's actually been audited? Need a quick answer

ok saw another vpn saying they got audited. where's the proof? nobody actually links to anything real. who's actually been checked by someone independent? everyone's just throwing around vague claims. i don't have time for this fluff. if you're gonna hype your security you better have actual docs. i've seen a few that claim an audit but it's just a link to some generic pdf or a marketing page smh. do these audits even mean anything or is it all for show? need to figure this out fast cause I'm tired of wasting money on vpns that say they're secure but never show receipts. anyone have real info or is it all just marketing noise?

careful with taking these audit claims at face value, lots of fake or vague docs out there. unless someone actually posts a link to a real, independent audit report with a verified third party, it's all just marketing noise. most of the time, it's hype, not proof.

Exactly, most of these so called audits are just marketing fluff. Without a real, verified report from a legit third party, it's all sus. People gotta stop falling for the hype and ask for actual docs.

Been doing this 3 years and I've seen more fake audits than real ones. if you're gonna hype your security you better have actual docs, lol. I once chased down a legit third-party audit and it was like finding a unicorn, most claims are just smoke and mirrors.

Careful with assuming everyone's been audited, ymmv. My experience is different, never got one yet.

Careful with assuming everyone's been audited, ymmv. I've run a few campaigns for a couple years now, and never had a single audit happen. Seems like it's kinda random or maybe depends on your niche or traffic sources, I dunno.

Audits are kinda like lightning - strikes randomly and no one really knows why. My tip - keep all your receipts and logs organized. If they come knocking, you'll thank yourself.

ok so been doing this 3 years, never got audited either. seems like it's really hit or miss but better safe than sorry. keeping docs organized is a no-brainer

thanks for the input, guys. Yeah, I guess it's pretty random, ymmv. Keeping logs is smart though, never a bad idea. Anyone actually get audited and wanna share what triggered it?

Ever heard of TaxAudit? I think they handle a lot of online biz audits and are pretty straightforward.

Careful with assuming they only handle online biz, tho. I've heard TaxAudit covers all sorts of audits and they claim over 85% of clients get thru without issues. ymmv but they've got a decent track record for smaller online sellers.

hey, ever checked if your state has audit stats? some states like CA or NY publish audit rates for small biz, like 1-2%. might help you get a ballpark before any audit anxiety.

Been doing this 3 years and I've never been audited, but I know plenty who have, and honestly I think most folks freak out over nothing.

Just my 2 cents but audits seem more like a lottery than a real threat. most folks freak out over nothing and end up fine. Anyone who says they've been audited probably just got unlucky or overthought it.

Different angle: I got audited last year and honestly it was more of a hassle than anything else but it's not like they showed up at my door ready to throw me in jail. I think most folks panic way more than needed, it's just some paperwork and talking to a guy who probably just wants to finish his day early. If you keep your stuff legit it's usually just a matter of filling out some forms and waiting

honestly most folks act like getting audited is the end of the world but honestly it's usually just a paperwork hassle, not jail time. people blow it out of proportion, think they'll get screwed over for some small mistake. imo most audits are just a wake up call to tighten shit up not some witch hunt.

Most folks overthink audits. Ever consider just keeping your records tight and honest, then you won't really have to worry? Wanna guess how many people actually get into real trouble?

actually, I'd say about 1-2% of affiliates get audited each year and most are just normal review processes, not a full-blown investigation. Do you think a solid record-keeping system could actually lower your audit risk or just make things less stressful?
