Best geo-targeted proxies for local content? Got some solid wins!

ok so yo, so I just tried out a few proxy providers for local content scraping and I am hyped! Found this one provider that gave me residential proxies in specific zip codes in the UK and US, and the results were nuts. Sites that usually block or slow down when I use generic proxies were just smooth sailing. Like legit, the geo-targeting was spot on. Did a quick test on a local biz site and bam, I was looking like a legit visitor from that area. I've tried others before but they either had too much latency or didn't actually match the geo. Anyone here tried similar? Or got recs for providers that focus on high accuracy geo-targeting? I wanna go full throttle now, thinking of doing some localized ad testing and content scraping with these. If you found a provider that's reliable for that, lemme know ASAP. This could be a for local SEO stuff and niche testing.

Last month I tried similar proxies for local content and honestly, sometimes the geo was a bit off even with what seemed like legit providers. You sure those proxies are really matching the zip codes or just kinda close? Just sayin, sometimes the "spot on" stuff can be a bit of hype if you dig deeper

smh, ive seen the same but maybe they just had crappy IP pools, idk. gotta test a bunch and see which ones stay consistent.

man had the same, some providers just have random IPs that aren't really in the zip codes they claim. sometimes you get lucky but most of the time it's hit or miss. gotta test more to find the legit ones.

yup, same here. Sometimes it's just about luck with the IP pools. Gotta keep testing different providers and even rotate IPs often to stay legit. Nothing's perfect, but a solid pool makes a huge difference

man spot on. I actually had a pretty similar experience with Bright Data, their residential proxies in those exact areas just work smoothly for local scraping. kinda expensive but the geo accuracy and speed are on point, never had a block or lag. used a few others but nothing compared to their consistency.

careful with relying too much on one provider fam, what if they get blacklisted or start throttling? ever tested rotating proxies from different sources to keep the quality steady?

Yeah, I do that too, mix it up all the time. Keeps the IPs fresh and avoids bans. Do you find certain sources better for geo accuracy?

If you're really chasing that tight geo targeting, maybe test multiple providers and rotate IPs often. Some proxies claim high accuracy but then miss the mark when it comes to actual location. ymmv, but I'd be cautious about putting all your eggs in one basket, especially if you plan to scale. Always keep a backup and verify the IPs are still correctly matched to the location.

Bruh, tried similar? Yeah I did. The key is not just the provider but also how you use those proxies. Rotating IPs constantly and testing multiple sources is how you keep the geo targeting tight and avoid getting caught. Some providers claim high accuracy but then turn out to be hit or miss when you actually test 'em.

Honestly, don't get too hyped on proxies alone. Sometimes it's the user-agent or cookies messing with geo accuracy more than the IP. Try rotating those too and see if that helps lock in the right location.

last month i used a popular residential proxy provider and had issues with the geo being off even tho the IPs matched. turned out, the ISP info sometimes skews the geo if u don't run proper IP validation. so yeah, accuracy can be hit or miss depending on how u verify the location.
