VPN fingerprinting still happens after my last post

so i posted about fingerprinting before. sites still catch me, even with random browsers and diff VPNs (like rotating between mullvad/proton/surfshark). tried the raspi openVPN setup too but they still flag me as 'anonymous VPN' on some banking/login pages. anyone got a workaround thats actually working now? need something that doesnt look like a commercial VPN IP pool. not gonna run my own VPS forever just for this.

been doing this 3 years and honestly fingerprinting is a pain even with random browsers and VPNs. I found mixing up user agents, using private browsers, and sometimes spoofed device info helps a little but they still catch me on banking sites. no perfect fix, just gotta keep messing with configs and hope they dont catch on.

spot on, it's a constant cat and mouse. sometimes i just switch up everything - user agents, fonts, cookies, whatever, till they let me go. never a 100% fix, just luck and timing

different angle: sometimes i think focusing on less common VPN exit nodes and more obscure browser setups helps avoid fingerprinting more than just switching everything constantly, fr.

Most VPN fingerprinting techniques rely on browser and device fingerprint data that can still be unique even with VPNs. From what I've seen, around 30-40% of fingerprinting can still identify VPN users if they don't use additional masking tools. It's a constant cat-and-mouse game.

35% rn, not gonna lie, VPN fingerprinting still a pain, but it's not a total black hole. People act like VPNs are magic shields but nah, fingerprint stuff keeps sneaking thru, especially if they use JS and canvas tricks. Think it's all about layers, keep mixing up the fingerprints and maybe drop the fingerprinting accuracy down more.

last month i ran some tests with amiunique.org and found that using a tool like mercure.io helped reduce fingerprinting success a lot. honestly, i was surprised how much it improved privacy even when vpn fingerprinting still lurks. might be worth trying out if you haven't yet.

yep exactly, fingerprinting is sneaky. VPNs just hide IPs but browser/device data still leaks. U gotta keep layering tools if u wanna stay kinda hidden rn.

honestly, fingerprinting is always a game of whack-a-mole. VPNs might hide the IP but all that other data leaks like crazy if you don't patch it. I've seen some guys try to use random user agents and disable JS, but it's still a mess trying to stay fully under the radar.

Lol, sounds like fingerprinting just refuses to get the memo huh? I swear, VPNs are like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound sometimes. No matter what you do, they still find a way

Are you sure they still do fingerprinting after all these years? I mean, afaik, VPNs do a decent job hiding IPs but yeah, browser fingerprinting is still a beast. I'd double check if your fingerprint data isn't leaking thru some other plugin or setting.

Different angle: maybe the real issue is not just fingerprinting but how often they update their methods. Ever considered they might be trying new tricks constantly?

bruh, 3rd time I heard VPN fingerprinting still be a thing, ngl it's sus how they keep updating but still catch ppl. like, data says around 60% of fingerprinting tech gets patched every 3-6 months so they def on a warpath. never trust static methods in this game, they always adapt.

If you wanna dodge fingerprinting, try switching up your browser setup regularly, like clearing cookies and spoofing user agents. I did that a while back and saw less detection even with VPN fingerprinting still being kinda common. seems like they keep changing the game tho.
