Yo, been banging my head against the wall trying to get some decent backlinks without dropping big bucks or risking my site. Tried guest posting, outreach, even some free niche directories but honestly nada seems to stick. Most of the outreach emails get ignored or I get ghosted, and PBNs? yeah I know the risks but honestly the white hat stuff feels so slow or dead. Anyone got legit free methods that aren't just spammy or dead? Or should I just give up and go black hat lol
 
White hat stuff can be slow, but risking black hat is like playing with fire, you'll end up getting banned or penalized. Sometimes you gotta accept slow growth and focus on creating real value instead of shortcuts.
 
Different angle: maybe your backlinks aren't sticking cause the sites you target are weak or spammy, not cause you're doing it wrong. Quality still wins, imo but if you want fast, maybe you gotta accept some risk. Black hat might get you quick wins but then what? Smh, better to find a legit way that actually lasts.
 
yep exactly, gotta keep it real. white hat can be slow but black hat probs gonna mess up ur site. maybe focus on legit quality sites and build slow but steady? speed ain't always the goal, esp if u wanna keep it legit.
 
just my 2 cents, don't give up yet. black hat might be tempting but risks are real and ur site could get wrecked. legit methods take time but safer long term.

been doing this 3 years and honestly, most free methods are dead unless you got some legit content. I tried guest posting on forums and local blogs, got about 15 links in 6 months but most are nofollow. Numbers don't lie, but the effort vs returns? Usually smh.
