Honestly, im so sick of providers saying 'zero logs' but ya gotta look at the fine print. That court case against a pretty popular one proved they keep connection timestamps for like months. For torrenting that's not good enough. Im only checking out two now, Mullvad and iVPN. Their setups are way more clear, and they even take cash mail-in if you're super paranoid. The speeds aren't the fastest ever imo but at least your ISP isn't getting letters or whatever.
 
just my 2 cents: yeah, speeds aren't everything if you wanna stay private. sometimes slow speeds are a small price to pay for peace of mind, especially if you're really into torrenting without worries. mail-in cash is a solid move too if you wanna stay extra anonymous.
 
speed can be a pain but I remember when I used VPNs that slowed to a crawl, felt more secure anyway. not worth risking leaks for faster streams.
 
Haha, totally. sometimes a slow connection feels like a small price to pay for not ending up on some government watchlist. better safe than sorry, imo.
 
tbh appreciate the input guys, speed isn't everything for sure. Imho, slow speeds are a small sacrifice if it means your logs are legit zero and your privacy is tight. I'll stick with Mullvad and iVPN for now, especially since they're clear about their policies and even accept cash. If anyone has more real-world experience with other providers, I wanna hear it.
 
do you know which jurisdictions these VPNs are based in? Sometimes laws in certain countries make no logs claims less trustworthy. Also, have you looked into how transparent they are about their logging policies in practice?
 
I don't buy the "no logs" claim so easily. Like, some VPNs say they keep no logs but then have vague wording or inconsistent policies. Also, according to recent reports, only about 10-15% of VPNs actually have independent audits confirming their no logs policies. So always check if they've been audited by third parties and what laws apply in their jurisdiction
 
Careful with that vagueness, a lot of VPNs slip fake no logs claims just to look legit. I've tested over 50 VPNs and only about 30% actually hold true to no logs under scrutiny. Always dig into their audit reports or real
 
"Hold up" is the phrase you want, not "hold up" in quotes like that, it sounds like you're asking which ones actually last or stay legit.
 
spot on. most of the legit ones afaik keep logs just enough for abuse detection but actual no logs claims are often shady. personally, i go for those with transparent audits or proven no logs policies in court, but even then, you never know 100%.

ngl nah i gotta disagree, just because a vpn says no logs doesnt mean they really keep none. most just hide it better or claim "no logs" for marketing. you gotta dig into independent audits and real user experiences. claims are one thing, reality's another.

I used one that claimed no logs and I trusted it till I got a legal letter for something I never did, turned out they had some logs after all, so now I kinda just assume no VPN is totally no logs lol.
 
lol bruh I used windscribe once and they say no logs but I saw a court document where they handed over some info after a subpoena so now I just stick with Mullvad, at least they seem kinda legit.
 
bruh if you want solid no logs and real privacy, try surfshark, they're pretty transparent about their policies and have been audited too lol
