man been trying out a few agencies lately after I saw some say they got clients to rank in 2-3 weeks. Paid one 3k last month, got 15 backlinks, but honestly no movement in rankings. My site's not moved from page 3, and I got ZERO traffic bump. Meanwhile, I see people on here doing legit outreach for free and getting good results. Is it just me or do these agencies overpromise? Like I read reviews, but ICYMI some just buy cheap PBNs or use shady tactics. I need to know if anyone's actually seen long term legit results from these agencies or if they're just wasting money. Smh, kinda frustrated here trying to figure if I should keep throwing cash or go back to building links myself.
 
Just my 2 cents, but maybe it's not the agencies but how you're approaching it. Some of those quick rank claims are just bs, and throwing cash without strategy rarely pays off. Do some real outreach or content-based stuff, better chances long term, imo.
 
just my 2 cents but I've seen the same stuff. paid agencies for backlinks before and got zero results, then went back to manual outreach and saw legit traffic in weeks. sometimes it's about the quality not just the money spent.

bruh, I dunno if all agencies are bad, I had a couple that actually delivered legit links that helped my site. not saying they're perfect but some do a decent job if you find the right ones. still, you gotta be careful and do your homework.
 
man, that title is so off, link building agencies arent just scams or worth it like its black or white. some are trash, sure, but not all. gotta vet those ppl, do your homework before throwing cash.
 
Careful with the numbers, ymmv, but I spent around 1k on a legit agency that gave me a 15% boost in organic traffic over 3 months. But I also burned 500 on some random cheap link farm that tanked my rankings. Do your homework and check their backlink profiles, don't just go for the cheapest option.
 
just my 2 cents: I've used a few legit agencies that brought me real links and small lifts in rankings. ymmv, but most of the bad ones are easy to spot if you check their outreach methods and link profiles. smh, not all agencies are scams but not all are worth it either, gotta do your homework.
 
yo, appreciate all the takes, real talk. sounds like some agencies are trash, but not all are bad if u vet properly. always do ur homework, ask for case studies and check reviews before handing over cash. no quick wins, but a good agency can be worth it if u find the legit ones.
 
never trust shady agencies, always check their backlink sources. some legit ones do work but u gotta vet hard. ngl, most are sus till proven.

Have you ever tried vetting a few agencies yourself? I once hired one that promised top-tier links but turned out to be just recycled junk. It's a gamble but asking for proof and checking the sources saved me from wasting more cash lol.
