ngl ok so ive been messing with free proxies lately thinking free lunch right? nah its more like a free trap honestly. tested a few from random sites and the second i start scraping or even browsing i get slammed with captchas or banned super fast. its basically giving your data to some random person and hoping theyre cool about it. tbh free proxies just show nothing good comes free. like why do they even offer these for free? are they just seeing if youre dumb enough to use them? now im wondering if paid proxies are actually worth the money or if theyre just as bad but at least you get some peace of mind. anyone ever found a decent free one or is it all a total waste of time?
 
I actually think some free proxies can be okay if you know what you're doing and test them thoroughly but the real trick is to check their IPs on multiple sites and see if they leak or get blacklisted quickly. Do you ever run those checks before trusting a free proxy?
 
yo you really believe some free proxies are actually safe fam? iirc most of them are just trash or set up to steal data. testing them might help but still risky, especially if you don't know how to spot red flags. are you really sure they're worth the hassle?
 
bruh honestly i tried some free proxies and they just slow down everything and get me banned quick. never trust them, they're almost always worse than no proxy. paid ones at least give some stability and less risk but even then you gotta be careful.
 
yep exactly, free proxies are basically a minefield. you never know who's behind them, could be logging your data or injecting stuff. always pay for decent proxy, safer, less headache.
 
tbh haha, yeah, free proxies are kinda like a box of chocolates, you never know what you get. But sometimes you find a decent free one that's not total sketch. Just gotta be careful and test them a bit before trusting them with anything sensitive
 
Actually, I think some free proxies can be okay if you're just testing or doing something low stakes, as long as you're aware of the risks and don't trust them with sensitive info. Fwiw, I've used a few decent free ones for quick tasks without issues but I wouldn't
 
lol you think free proxies are ever really safe? ever tried using smth legit like brightdata or oxylabs for higher stakes? ymmv but i'd rather pay than get pwned.
 
ngl last month I tried a free proxy for a quick test run and got lucky, it was decent but rn I'd never rely on that for anything serious. Usually free ones are riddled with malware or slow af. Better to just spend a lil and get legit proxies.
 
just my 2 cents: if you want reliable proxies rn, go with something like BrightData or Oxylabs. Free proxies are just too sketchy and slow. Why risk your stuff for free?
 
Last month i thought id give a free proxy a shot just to see if it worked for some quick testing. ended up with a slow connection, random disconnects and a weird popup. never again. free proxies are a gamble - more hassle than they're worth. ymmv but i stick with legit paid proxies now.
 
different angle: instead of risking free proxies, try using Bright Data (formerly Luminati), their residential proxies are legit and safer. cost more but way better for affiliate stuff and less risk of bans or data leaks.
 
different angle: not everyone can afford premium proxies like bright data atm. for some of us, free proxies are just a start till you hit a certain volume or ROI. risks are there but so is the potential to test and learn fast without blowing cash.

Spot on. Free proxies are almost always sketchy, and ymmv but I'd never risk my accounts. If you really wanna go legit, try buying proxies from Blazing Proxies or SSLPrivateProxy, they're cheap and way safer.
 
Never understood the hype about free proxies, imo they're just a headache waiting to happen. I've seen enough get burned or caught because of shady free options, so I always go paid. Peace of mind is worth the few extra bucks.
