Pop/redirect traffic still alive or dead?

Pop/redirect traffic still alive or dead?

Been seeing mixed signals lately. Some say pop/redirect is dead with ad blockers and browser restrictions tightening up. Others still seem to get decent results if you know what you're doing. Wondering if anyone here is still rocking it with this traffic type or if it's just a relic now. Would love to see some real data or experiences to break down if this traffic source still has legs or if it's just wasting time.

Ever tried using Voluum's traffic splitter? It helps you split test different pop or redirect campaigns in real time so you can see what still works and ditch the dead weight fast.

last month i was still getting decent CPA from pop/redirect in certain niches, but it's definitely getting tougher with blockers. you ever tried combining pop with other softer approaches like push traffic or native? just wondering if mixing can still keep it alive without relying 100% on pure pop/redirect.

Careful with relying too much on pop/redirect, especially without good tracking. I've been trying out Voluum's traffic splitter to see what still converts and what's dead. Helps you filter out the junk and focus on what's actually working.

You ever seen actual CTR or conversion numbers lately? Like, are you still pulling 3-5% CTR with pop/redirect or is it more like 1-2% now? Just curious if the data backs up what I've seen - less impressions but higher engagement on some pages, or if it's really just a shadow of its past.

last month I was still pulling decent results with pop/redirect in some niches, but I gotta say, it feels more like a crapshoot now. Browser restrictions and blockers are definitely making it more annoying to get consistent results. Maybe it's still alive

man last month i was still pulling some decent CTRs with pop/redirect in niche X, but yeah it's definitely a lot more sus now. browser restrictions and blockers are a pain. i'd say if you got good targeting and fresh creatives, still possible but way more volatile. don't rely on it as your main source tho, more like a side hustle while testing new stuff.

Been doing this 3 years and honestly pop/redirect still works but in kinda different ways now. They ain't dead just more tricky to scale without getting slammed by adblockers or browsers. Still seeing some niche angles that get decent CPMs if you're smart about it.

Careful with the wording, it's not pop/redirect traffic itself that's dead, it's the old methods that got hammered down. New ways pop up all the time, just gotta keep up and not get lazy.

been doing this 3 years and I still see pop/redirect working, but it's a different game now. Not dead, just way more fragile, especially with browsers cracking down. The old methods got hit, yeah, but new ones pop up all the time, just gotta stay sharp lol

Just my 2 cents, pop/redirect still kicks around but it's not the same as 2-3 years ago. Still seeing about 15-20% of campaigns flopping due to adblockers, but the rest can still hit decent ROI if you adapt. ymmv, but it's definitely not dead, just more niche and tricky.

Haha pop/redirect traffic huh? It's like whack-a-mole but with banners. My tip - focus on smarter targeting and avoid the obvious pop-ups, then it's still kinda alive

Pop/redirect traffic still alive or dead? Haha, I'd say it's kinda like a zombie, still walking but pretty slow and kinda limping. In my experience, it's gotten way tougher with blockers and browsers tightening up, so if you're still in it, you gotta be real smart about how you run it. It's not dead but imho, it's not what it used to be.

last month i messed around with some pop/redirect stuff and yeah it still works a bit but honestly it's like trying to squeeze blood from a stone now. adblockers got waaay smarter, and browsers keep tightening up. so if you're banking on it being the same as years ago, nah. it's still alive but barely, and only if you know how to dodge the walls they're putting up.

Different angle: I actually messed around with pop/redirects a couple months ago and ended up seeing some decent EPC for a hot minute but then it just vanished overnight, like the walls got way higher. That stuff still works but you gotta be super sneaky and keep testing different angles. It's like walking a tightrope now
