Scholarship Link Building in 2023, Still Worth It?

been testing this strategy for a bit now and I gotta say, it's still pulling decent links if you do it right. I set up a few scholarship pages, targeted some niche communities, and pushed out legit content around education grants and scholarships. The results? After 3 months, I managed to snag 15 backlinks from university and college sites, which isn't bad considering the domain authority of those links. Plus, the traffic boost from those pages is a nice bonus. Most people say it's dead or too risky now but ymmv. I've seen some dudes doing it with success still. Just gotta make sure your outreach is legit and you're not spammy. I also avoided shady PBNs or black hat stuff, kept it clean and focused on real value. Did some A/B testing on outreach emails too, and personalized messages with some added value got better responses. If you're just blasting out generic pitches, yeah, you won't see much. I think it's still a legit white hat tactic if done correctly, and the backlink quality is top-tier since it's earned through real engagement, not bought or manipulated.

yeah same here last month i started hitting up scholarship pages and got some legit backlinks too, still works if you keep it real and personalized. i think the key is staying legit and not spamming, as you said. been seeing good results from outreach that actually adds value rather than just pitching links.

careful with those numbers tho, 15 backlinks from legit sites might seem good but if they ain't relevant or if the sites are low quality, it can backfire. also, those links gotta stay, if they get removed or lost relevance, not much point. in my experience, it's kinda hit or miss depending on niche and how you approach it.

spot on. I did something similar a while back, set up a scholarship page just to see if it still pulls and honestly it did pretty decent for a few months. kinda surprised me, I was just testing the waters, but it showed me that if you keep

Honestly, if you want a legit edge, try using Pitchbox for outreach management, it helps personalize at scale w/o sounding spammy. Keeps everything organized and tracks responses easily which is for maintaining those good relationships and avoiding shady tactics.

been doing this 3 years now and honestly, i think it depends more on the niche and quality of the sites you target. sometimes the backlinks from legit uni sites are gold, but other times they're just a quick boost that fades. how do you guys handle keeping those backlinks active or making sure they don't get lost over time?

Bruh, I did almost the same last year, set up a scholarship page for a niche and ended up with like 12 legit backlinks from uni sites in 2 months, no joke. lol sometimes these still work if you keep it real and don't spam.

Been doing this 1 year and honestly, you might wanna check your numbers. 15 backlinks from legit sites in 3 months? Sounds kinda.

25 backlinks from legit uni sites in 3 months, lol. I mean, I get it, but do you guys think it's more about the niche or just the quality of outreach? Like, how much can you really push this before it gets crowded or sketchy? lmao

Been doing this 3 years and honestly I think it's more about the outreach than the niche. I switched to using Pitchbox for outreach campaigns and it's a, helps keep everything organized and personal. Made a huge difference in response rates and quality links, lol.

just my 2 cents, 25 backlinks in 3 months sounds kinda optimistic fam. i mean, it's possible but usually depends on the niche and how aggressive ur outreach is. i'd be careful not to get too carried away, don't wanna risk getting flagged or overdoing it. quality > quantity always.

yep totally agree, especially with scholarship links, the quality of the backlink is what really matters, not just throwing out as many as possible and hoping for the best.

15 backlinks in 3 months from legit sites is solid, fam. I remember back when I first tried scholarship link building, I got 12 from uni blogs in 2 months, but the real kicker was how those links actually held up over time. It's easy to get caught up in the numbers, but I learned real engagement and relevance is what keeps those links worth anything.
