so ok so my custom rotating setup is getting screwed by target sites this week. script hits a new ip from the pool, random user agent, some basic header spoofing, decent delays between requests and bam. hit like 50-60 requests and the whole chain turns into a captcha farm. this worked fine for months so idk maybe they changed something or my config's just old. smh. using a mix of residential proxies from two mid-tier providers and i got the rotation logic in python with requests session + adapter thing. the ips themselves aren't really burned - it's more like they see the rotation pattern and just blanket flag the whole subnet or whatever. anyone else run into this lately? need to know if i'm fighting an arms race i can't win or if i missed some fingerprinting thing. ymmv but drop some numbers if u got em.

So are you seeing a pattern in the captcha triggers? Like specific IPs or user agents getting hit more? Or is it totally random?

careful with thinking it's just about IPs or user agents, fam. had the same issue and it was more about the timing and request patterns. these sites are always updating their fingerprinting, so u gotta stay ahead.

Nah, I think u gotta switch up your fingerprinting tricks more, not just IPs and UA. try adding some random request timing and better header spoofing

you sure they haven't started using some kind of subnet fingerprinting? I mean, random IPs and UA might not cut it anymore. have you tried mixing in some kinda fingerprint randomness beyond just headers?

careful with thinking it's just about IPs or UA, bruh. I was in the same boat and realized after some time it's more about how the requests look overall. I once got flagged hard just cuz I kept using the same pattern even with rotating IPs. switched to more random timing, mixed in some fake referrers and it chilled out. sometimes you gotta mix up the fingerprint pattern itself, not just the obvious stuff.

use session-based proxies or add some delay between requests, helped me a lot to reduce captchas. once i started rotating user-agents and adding small random wait times, it got better too.

been doing this 1 year rn, captchas pop up when proxies get flagged or too many requests from same IP pool. My move was to switch to session-based proxies and throttle request rate. Also, adding random user-agent shifts helped me keep it under radar.

careful with just adding delays, ever try rotating your proxies more often or using less obvious user-agents? maybe captchas pop up cause your requests are too predictable

Last month i started using a tool called Captcha-Solver.io and honestly it cut my captcha hits down by like 70%. Before that I was just relying on rotating proxies and random user agents, which works okay but not enough long-term. Sometimes you gotta toss in a dedicated captcha solving service to stay ahead.

How many proxies are you rotating through? I've found that switching IPs every 5-10 requests can keep captcha rates under 20% ymmv. Also, are you randomizing headers or user-agents?

just my 2 cents, i ran into the same issue last month, and bumping my proxy rotation to every 3-5 requests helped cut captcha hits by half. also, using some random user-agents and keeping request timing irregular helped a lot. lol

bruh yeah totally, i tried that too but honestly it's like a whole other headache to set up and keep paying for it lol. still, might be worth it if your captcha hits are crazy. do you use one now?

Yeah, proxy costs can really pile up quick if you're switching too often. sometimes you gotta find that sweet spot where your proxy rotation is fast enough but not eating your budget alive. what proxies are you using now?

just my 2 cents, yeah I do use one now and it's kinda frustrating sometimes, but honestly you gotta test different proxies and see which ones play nicer with captchas. I've noticed some are way more captcha-heavy than others, so maybe try switching up your providers? feels like a never-ending game sometimes, lol.
