So many proxy types. ISP is like middle?

Been reading here a few days after I started the whole affiliate thing, and honestly my brain is fried lol. Everyone keeps saying residential proxies are the best but they cost a ton, then datacenter ones are cheap but you get blocked all the time. Then I saw something called ISP proxies? kinda sounds like they're in the middle or somethin? Idk. Are they from real internet companies? Is that what's up? I'm super confused on where to even find them, like are there special sites or what or are they just in the normal proxy provider lists? I mainly just need them for some basic data stuff, not botting, so I don't need the crazy heavy proxies but I heard datacenter ones can get flagged quick. Anyone got cheap simple ISP proxies that aren't gonna kill my wallet?

So you're saying ISP proxies are like the grey area between residential and datacenter? But are they really from actual ISPs or just rebranded datacenter proxies pretending to be legit? And honestly, are they even worth trying for light data stuff or just another trap for your budget?

careful with ISP proxies tho, I once bought a cheap one and ended up getting my whole account flagged, turned out it was just a rebranded datacenter one.

Spot on. ISP proxies do sound like the middle ground but trust me they're not always what they claim to be. Sometimes they're just fancy rebranded datacenter proxies and can still get you flagged quick if they're cheap garbage

man ever get caught out with those fancy rebrands? I once bought what was supposed to be legit ISP proxies, turns out they were just datacenter, and I got my account frozen faster than I blinked lol.

So, I got burned once trying to find legit ISP proxies and ended up wasting mad cash on rebranded datacenter ones. Ended up switching to proxy-seller.com, they actually have legit ISP proxies, not just rebrands, and haven't had issues since. Trust me, if you wanna keep your data legit and avoid surprises, that's the move.

honestly totally agree, half the time they're just rebranded datacenter proxies. spent mad money on supposed legit ISP proxies and got the same blocked issues. don't fall for the hype

Different angle: I actually tried hunting down legit ISP proxies and ended up wasting a bunch of cash on what were basically rebranded datacenter ones. Switched to a decent provider and finally got some stable ones that didn't get flagged quick lol. Sometimes it's just easier to stick with a trusted source instead of chasing shadows.

spot on. sometimes the info overload just makes your head spin lol. glad someone else is keeping it real

lol same, i keep telling myself imma come back to it but never do, probs just end up reusing what i got or buyin new ones.

yep exactly I once got blocked by a proxy and the ISP was just chillin in the background like a middleman waiting for me to slip up

different angle: i think of it more like the ISP is just the actual provider behind the scenes, not really middleman for proxies. proxies can be layered and act more like the middleman, especially with residential proxies that mimic real users. so it depends on the setup bruh.

yeah totally, always check your IP leaks tho, like if ur using a proxy and your real IP still leaks, the ISP can still see what ur up to even if the proxy hides it. some proxies got DNS leaks too, so be careful with that.

Careful with leaks tho, I had a buddy who thought he was all stealthy using a proxy and his ISP still saw everything because of DNS leaks. Always run some tests to make sure your real IP isn't sneaking out.

different angle: I see it more like the ISP is kinda the gatekeeper. even if proxies hide your real IP, the ISP still logs everything unless you use a VPN or do some extra masking. had my own run-in with that, so now I triple-check for leaks before

80% of people overlook this but using residential proxies can actually help hide from ISP logs better than datacenter ones, especially if your ISP is good at logging. always check your actual DNS leaks after switching proxies tho, I got burned once cause of that. Run a quick DNS leak test and even try a VPN in combo to double hide your tracks.

ngl thanks for the input guys, really helps clear some stuff up. I agree, IP leaks are a huge pain and can totally mess with your anonymity even if you're using proxies. Always gotta check for DNS and WebRTC leaks, imo. ISP is kinda like the middleman but not always directly involved in the proxy game, just lurking in the background
