PBN in 2025 - still working or just too risky now?

So I posted about PBNs before and honestly I thought they were dead meat by now but turns out a few folks still swear by em (or at least keep trying). I've been messing with some new setups trying to keep em under the radar but nothing's really working like it used to. Every time I think I nailed a network, Google drops a bomb and all the links tank. Anyone here still running PBNs in 2025 or is it just a ticking time bomb waiting to blow? I need a fresh perspective cause I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels. Should I just cut my losses and switch to legit guest posting or is there some secret sauce I missed? I swear, every damn time I think I got the hang of it, Google tightens the noose. Would love to hear some real talk from folks still in the trenches or just calling it quits.

careful with thinking PBNs are totally dead in 2025. I ran a small network last year, kept things super clean, but one day Google just wiped it out overnight. no warning, no way to salvage. so yeah, still risky as hell even if u think u got the hacks.

Appreciate the post cause this stuff is a rollercoaster right now I mean I still mess with PBNs but you gotta be so careful last year I had a network that looked perfect no footprints no footprint tools and bam Google just wiped it out overnight like it was never there so yeah I think the risk is just too high if you ask me might be time to

bruh, i swear PBNs atm are like playing russian roulette, like 60-70% of networks get wiped out in 6-12 months if u ain't on top of footprints. last year I had a network that lasted 9 months before google nuked it, no warning, just gone. imo just switch to legit guest posts, way less stress lol.

yo, if u wanna keep some kinda edge, try isolating each PBN in different hosting environments, like totally separate IPs and niches, and keep the footprints super tight. but honestly, even then it's a gamble, lol

Haha, yeah PBNs are like that shady ex, always keeps you on edge. You ever tried mixing in some new TLDs or using cloud hosting to stay hidden? Feels like every move has to be a bit more sneaky these days.

smh, i get it fam, ive been there. one trick that helped me was rotating hosting providers constantly, like switching every 3-4 months, keeps Google guessing. once they get comfy, u gotta switch it up again, keeps footprints small.

bruh, same here, it's like playing whack-a-mole with Google these days. the moment u think u got it, they switch up the rules again.

different angle: maybe instead of just trying to hide the PBN, u should focus on making it look legit, like real sites with good content. had some luck with that, made it way harder for Google

just my 2 cents, OP, but i think PBNs are still doable if u really get creative and focus on quality over quantity but I've seen a lot of guys just get burnt out or blown up by google so maybe switch to legit guest posting and build real assets instead? different experiences but for me, it's a slow grind either way

spot on, I've been using PBNs here and there rn and they still bring some juice but gotta be super careful with footprints and cleanup.

I think PBNs are more risky now, especially with all the recent updates, imo it's better to focus on legit link building instead.

Careful with footprints, for real. I once ran a PBN and got hit hard after leaving a tiny footprint on a new hosting setup, totally forgot about that. Do you think hosting variability still helps or is it just a game of cat and mouse now?

Use a tool like GSA Search Engine Ranker with custom footprints and rotate hosting to stay under radar, fr

just my 2 cents but even with tools like GSA, u still gotta be super careful about footprints and hosting patterns, ymmv. dont rely 100% on automation, tf.

Over 70% of PBNs still rank decent if you play it smart but the risk is definitely climbing. Using different hosting, cleaning footprints, and not overdoing it is key. Afaik, it's still a game of cat and mouse.

just my 2 cents, i think it really depends on your setup and risk appetite. ive seen folks keep PBNs alive with smart hosting and footprint management but ymmv, it's definitely more dangerous than a few years ago. gotta stay sharp or just accept the risk.

highkey, rotation and footprint management are the core, but gotta stay updated on algo changes and avoid overdoing it lol

bruh exactly, if u keep up with algo updates and stay chill with footprints it's still kinda doable but u gotta be super careful and not get lazy with the routine. those small moves matter big time now.
