Running into issues with proxies getting flagged when scraping. Should I switch to IPv6 proxies or stick with IPv4? Considering how IPv6 is less used in some networks, does it actually help avoid detection or is it just hype? I need smth fast and legit for heavy scraping without getting banned. Anyone tried both? Which performs better for anti-detection and how about speed? Would love a quick breakdown, don't have time to test both myself right now.

just my 2 cents, legit proxies matter way more than IP version when it comes to avoiding bans, so don't get hung up on ipv6 vs ipv4 if the proxies are trash.
 
bruh, lol, that sounds like a pain. my tip is to focus on rotating your proxies every 5-10 mins and use residential proxies if possible, cuz they tend to get flagged less. numbers-wise, residential proxies have a ban rate of like 20-30% lower than datacenter ones rn. so yeah, quality over IP version for real.

guess IPv6 proxies are still the new kid on the block, huh? From my tests, around 60% of sites still treat IPv6 like the bad boy on the block, blocking or flagging it more often than IPv4. Honestly, I'd stick with IPv4 for now unless you got a reason to gamble on the new shiny.
 
Nah, I disagree, I've been using BrightData's IPv6 proxies for a while and honestly most sites don't even flinch anymore. It's like, the more you use legit proxies, the less they care about IPv4 or IPv6
