VPN for Netflix - why does it keep blocking me?

Been trying to get my VPN to work with Netflix for weeks and honestly it's driving me nuts. I read all the reviews and some claim certain protocols or servers work but every time I try to stream smth, Netflix just blocks me or says I'm using a proxy. I thought WireGuard was supposed to be good for streaming but nope, still get the error. I switched to OpenVPN and even IKEv2, nothing. Is it just me or is Netflix really cracking down hard? I've tried different regions, different servers, even VPNs that supposedly work with Netflix but nothing sticks. Has anyone found a setup that actually works without constantly disconnecting or getting the proxy error? Or is Netflix just impossible now? I really wanna watch my shows without turning off VPN every five minutes but it's like chasing a ghost. Any insights? Or am I just wasting my time?

Last month I was messing around with the same thing, switching protocols like crazy, still got blocked. Do you use any obfuscation or stealth mode with your VPN? I found that some VPNs have special features for Netflix, maybe worth a shot.

Check out ExpressVPN, they have dedicated obfuscation servers that Netflix can't block easily. I've tested it myself, and it's been pretty reliable for streaming without detection. ymmv but worth a shot if you want less hassle. No magic, just solid tech. Keep it simple, keep it working.

tbh honestly, I think you might be mixing up what some reviews say and real experience. I've been messing around with VPNs for a bit and found that some servers and protocols do work but it's not always the same. I had better luck sticking with VPNs that have dedicated obfuscation like Nord or Surfshark, but even then, Netflix is always trying to block us. It's not impossible but you gotta keep trying different servers and maybe even switch VPNs sometimes. Just smh how they keep cracking down, lol. Keep at it tho, you'll find a way. Stay chill.

I actually think the real secret isn't just switching servers or protocols but about the timing and pattern of your VPN usage. If you keep connecting to the same server at the same time every day, Netflix's detection gets smarter. Try randomizing your VPN connection times and use a VPN with dynamic IPs that rotate more often, that might help stay under the radar longer.

man last month i tried a bunch of VPNs for Netflix, and honestly, it felt like chasing ghosts too. Turns out, the key is not just switching servers but changing up your connection patterns. Netflix seems to be pretty aggressive now, so quick disconnects and reconnects are kinda inevitable.

Try using a dedicated IP VPN, bruh, that might help you dodge the proxy detection. netflix's cracking down hard but some legit VPNs still manage to stay under the radar if you keep changing your connection patterns and avoid the same servers all the time. ever tried running a fresh session or using a less popular region?

Have you tried switching to a dedicated IP VPN? kinda feels like that might help dodge the detection, or so I've heard. Ymmv tho.

Actually, if you look at the stats, Netflix blocks like 85% of VPN IPs within hours, so it's a game of whack-a-mole. Dedicated IPs can help, but even then, the success rate's like 60

haha, chasing VPNs like it's a treasure hunt. I swear, I got the best luck with NordVPN's dedicated IPs for Netflix, atm. It's not perfect but way less hassle than bouncing around random servers.

bruh, same boat here, Netflix cracks down hard, like 85% of VPN IPs blocked in a few hours. dedicated IPs help but still like 60% success, total pain.

Thanks for the tips guys, really appreciate it. I'll check out those obfuscation servers and maybe try ExpressVPN, heard good things. Still, feels like Netflix is just tightening the screws, but I'll keep messing around. Cheers for the ideas, keep 'em coming!

Most ppl think VPNs just stop working cuz of netflix blocking but reaaally it's more about the VPN's IPs getting blacklisted fast. I've used some VPNs that keep rotating IPs and work way better, but even then Netflix catches on eventually. It's kinda a cat and mouse game, so gotta stay updated with the best VPNs that keep switching IPs fast.

just my 2 cents: if you wanna beat the blacklists, go for VPNs that rotate IPs constantly or have a big pool of fresh ones, ymmv but it helps keep Netflix from catching on.

Bruh, if Netflix was a bouncer, we'd all be banned by now, lol. the secret is more about constantly changing IPs and using stealth VPNs, not just picking any VPN and hoping for the best.

Just my 2 cents, I used to get blocked all the time till I switched to VPNs with rotating IPs and stealth modes. Do you ever try changing servers mid-stream? That helped me a lot.

Ever tried just switching VPNs entirely instead of messing with the same one? I was stuck on the same VPN forever and then finally switched and boom, no more blocks. Sometimes a fresh start with a totally different provider does the trick.

lol, I was stuck getting blocked all the time too till I switched to a VPN with rotating IPs and stealth mode. One time I just changed servers mid-stream and it was smooth sailing after that.

just my 2 cents, I used to get blocked all the time till I found a VPN with rotating IPs and stealth mode. one time I just switched servers mid-stream and it was smooth sailing after that, lol. sometimes I think it's just about staying one step ahead of their detection, you know? lmao

been doin this 3 years and honestly switching servers mid-stream is the move. same vpn? nah, that's how u get blocked again. quick change, keep it fresh.
