Rotating proxies for scraping - need quick advice

Yo guys, I've been messing with rotating proxies for a project and I am super frustrated. I'm trying to set up a proxy rotation in, but it keeps tripping or getting blocked. Anyone got a proven method or specific provider that actually works without me spending a fortune? I need reliable residential proxies that rotate fast and don't get detected easily. Tried some cheap ones but they're dead or slow. If anyone has a setup that actually works with minimal bans, hit me up quick. I'm running out of patience here.

been doing this 3 years and honestly most cheap proxies are just trash, I switched to premium residentials from a provider that actually has a legit api with real IPs rotating fast and minimal bans. but yeah it's not cheap but if you want reliable, you gotta pay for it. cheap proxies are just bait, I wouldn't trust them.

honestly, I think most folks chasing cheap proxies are just chasing illusions. You get what you pay for. Premium residential proxies with a legit API and fast rotation are the only way to go if you wanna avoid bans and slow speeds. Anything else is just throwing money down the drain.

Thanks for the tips guys, appreciate the real talk. Yeah, I figured cheap ones are trash but was hoping for some miracle lol. Gonna bite the bullet and go premium, just gotta find a good legit provider that won't break the bank. If anyone's got a solid one, lemme know!

last month i tried rotating proxies for a project and it was a pain to find a balance between speed and success rate. do you prefer datacenter or residential proxies for scraping or mix 'em up?

Why limit to just datacenter or residential? try using proxy rotation services with built-in adaptive algorithms, rn they can adjust to your target site's detection levels automatically, saves you a lot of manual tweaking.

Different angle: maybe instead of stressing over proxies, focus on mimicking human behavior more. Like, random delays, mouse movements, all that. Sometimes proxy rotation's just a bandaid for bigger bot detection issues. lol

"Rotating proxies for scraping - need quick advice" tbh, don't rely just on proxies, try mimicking human patterns too. Random delays, mouse movements, that kinda stuff might actually help more than just swapping IPs fr.

85% of the time, even with rotating proxies, if your request patterns are too robotic it'll get flagged. ngl, I've seen ppl use captcha solvers or just slow down scraping speed more than rotating proxies sometimes. ymmv tho

"Rotating proxies for scraping - need quick advice" how many times u really think proxies alone can stop the flags? think about it, if ur pattern is obvious, proxies just slow the fall, not stop it. ever seen a bot that just speeds through without slowing down or faking behavior?

Actually, using at least 10-20 different proxies per hour is a good start, but u gotta mix that with human-like behavior. U know, like random delays (sometimes 2-10 seconds), not just hitting fast and hard. Stat-wise, if ur pattern is too clean, even with proxies, ur still at risk of getting flagged 70% of the time. So, fast proxies + slow, natural actions = less flags.

i think u meant "need quick advice" at the end, not in the title. Title should be "Rotating proxies for scraping - quick advice needed" or smth like that. Keep it clear.

Been doing this 3 years, and honestly proxies alone only go so far. Do u actually vary your request headers and add some random delays? That stuff really helps not get flagged fast.

careful with just relying on proxies alone tho. u gotta make sure ur request patterns look real, not just rotate IPs. do u tweak headers, add random delays? those little things matter big time.
