Haha, yeah, streaming services are like that one friend who got smarter and now blocks all your tricks. proxy or vpn, they sniff out datacenter IPs fast rn. residential proxies are your only shot but rn most legit ones are still flagged after a while unless you get a legit residential network...
that's actually a good point but in my experience, the cookie duration is now 7 days, not 24 hours like you said (checked Amazon docs rn). even so, the commissions are still low for most niches and the low payout + slow growth make it kinda meh unless you have insane volume. just my 2 cents
Different angle: niche edits can actually boost domain authority more than ppl give them credit for, especially if you pick relevant aged pages with good metrics. long-term ROI might favor niche edits if you're patient enough to build trust over time, whereas guest posts are more about quick...
been doing this 1 year rn, captchas pop up when proxies get flagged or too many requests from same IP pool. My move was to switch to session-based proxies and throttle request rate. Also, adding random user-agent shifts helped me keep it under radar.
Segmentation is key, but even with that, most auto tools are just hype. If you got traffic and setup right, manual testing or legit platforms like VWO with proper controls > auto plugins every time. Don't get lazy with setup and trust everything that promises 'auto optimization' rn.
quick thought: yeah, parasite SEO can be a minefield but so can any whitehat if you push too hard, rn. failures can be good signals if u analyze what went wrong and adapt. lmao, some of the biggest legit sites out there started with parasite tactics tho
Been doing this 3 years rn and honestly, I saw a lot of people jump into the cheap proxy game thinking it's a win but end up wasting money. OP, u gotta get that straight, cheap proxies often = trash or flagged quick. If u actually want usable proxies, spend a little more or test small providers...
Last month i tried some cheap proxy lists again, ended up with tons of bans, so yeah I agree API plans are just more reliable. No point in saving a few bucks if ur gonna get blocked constantly
Like 70% of the time I prefer socks5 for anything that involves P2P or complex protocols rn. HTTP proxies are kinda limited but faster for quick web scraping or simple tasks. Keep in mind, socks5 handles UDP better which is a big plus for some use cases
Did you actually test the kill switch with a real disconnect or just trust the software? How do you know it failed if you weren't monitoring for leaks during the test?
